The SA-RA Creative Partners™ are ready to offer up a new album in the form of Nuclear Evolution: The Age of Love (Ubiquity). The album was originally scheduled for release on June 9th but has been pushed to June 24th. Fans who have been waiting will not have to wait too much longer.
(Nuclear Evolution: The Age Of Love will be available on both vinyl and compact disc and can be pre-ordered through the links just presented via CD Universe.)
Scratch, known for his work with The Roots, has a new album out now called Loss-4-Wordz (Gold Dust), and the video above has him talking about it, the music, and his future.
Loss-4-Wordz is available through CD Universe.
You can give a high-five to yourself, in celebration of your new album. In this case it’s a new album from Why?, who will be releasing Eskimo Snow (Anticon) later this year. This is the follow up to Alopecia, even though both albums were recorded around the same time in 2007. Sadly there’s no chance of a new cLOUDDEAD or Reaching Quiet project, but Yoni Wolf recently said in an interview with Pitchfork that hip-hop is and will always be within him and what he does, just not in a direct way with everything he does.
Nonetheless, the new Why? album should be great.
It had been said that skateboarders know nothing about skateboarding because they haven’t been to the ocean, since modern skating is very much about miming the actions of surfers. But skateboarding has become far more advanced.
Now we’re in the age of the “Swag Surf”. Is this the new era? Ask the Fast Life Yungstaz, a/k/a F.L.Y..
The album sucks, but it’s Kanye West, what can you say? The song is catchy in an “I have peanuts in my ass” sort of way, and the video is decent too, yes?
With luck no one from PETA will be after him, but DJ A-Trak will be hitting the road on the 10,000 LB Hamburger Tour with Treasure Fingers and Rye Rye. Save your money, here are the confirmed tour dates:

Teena Marie‘s new album is called Congo Square, her first for Stax Records, and you can take a look at the photo shoot for the album cover.
Congo Square will be released on June 9th but can be pre-ordered now directly from CD Universe.
They are from New Mexico and are called Leeches Of Lore, an incredibly heavy band made heavier because they only consist of two guys. They had released the album on their own last year but it has since been picked up by MeteorCity Records, who are reissuing it today. If you already have the album, you can download three tracks that didn’t make the album by clicking here.
Leeches Of Lore combine a wide range of hard rock and metal styles, from old school thrash to progressive, and grungy stoner rock with hints of pop and folk and a side of quirkiness that is refreshing to hear. It’s not just a solid barrage of power riffs and vocalizing, they offer a lot more and a bit of the unexpected.
You can purchase the CD through AllThatIsHeavy.com.
