SOME STUFFS: Neon Indian glows, musically

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
This is Neon Indian, the name currently being used by musician Alan Palomo for his new songs. The above is a Polaroid photo of him.

His sound some have called nosgalgic for his use of analog synthesizers and keyboards, but he also has this as part of his arsenal:
field recordings
record samples
a collection of bizarre synth sounds

Makes you moist, doesn’t it? Perhaps he is the perfect definition of a bedroom artist, but Neon Indian is taking his sounds and will be mixing them up with sights courtesy of video artist Alicia Scardetta as he goes out on the streets (a/k/a “road”) to promote his brand new album, Psychic Chasms (Lefse), due out on October 13th. The descriptions can be grandiose, but listen for yourself.

Deadbeat Summer” (5.6mb)
Terminally Chill” (4.9mb)
