I showed this video to someone, and they said “she talks about having accountants but it looks like everyone in the video is poor, and there’s a scene where she looks as if she’s doing something naughty.” I had to watch it to see what she was talking about and sure, there’s a suggestive scene in this (it is “work safe”) and as I listen to the lyrics, Dominique Young Unique is talking about not caring about any and all haters. In other words, she doesn’t care what anyone thinks but if you like what she’s about, then follow.
I like the production of the video and the song itself, it will be interesting to see how Dominique will follow this up.
