VIDEO: Barbarossa’s “Pagliaccio”

James Mathé has created his very first video under his musical nom de plume, Barbarossa. It’s for the song “Pagliaccio”, nicely directed by Montserrat Lombard. While “pagliaccio” is the Italian word for clown, there is absolutely no clowning around when it comes to his music and how it’s presented. In fact, when he presents himself for a tour in North America in November, it will be all about style and grace. Check out where he’ll be and pop in if you’re able to:

October 7… Atlanta, GA (Terminal West) *
October 8… Carrboro, NC (Cats Cradle) *
October 9… Baltimore, MD (Ottobar) *
October 14… Denver, CO (Summit Music Hall) *
October 15… Salt Lake City, UT (The State Room) *
October 16… Reno, NV (Knitting Factory) *
October 19… San Diego, CA (The Loft) *

He will be touring throughout Europe in September, head here for the concert dates.

His Memphis Industries album, Bloodlines is out now, while “Pagliaccio” will be released as a digital single on Monday.
