If you follow your album credits, you may know who Otis Brown III, as he has played with Esperanza Spalding, Terence Blanchard, Joe Lovano, and Oliver Lake. He is now taking control of his own music in his own hands with his own album on Revive/Blue Note called The Thought Of You, to be released on September 23rd. From it is a track that features Bilal called “The Thought Of You Pt. 1” and if you’re into good, intense jazz, this is just ridiculous.
