Outside of the mention of his website before he drops the first verse, Omari G’s “For The Night” is the kind of hip-hop song that will make you pump this in your car or apartment as you don’t want your neighbors to know what you’re really doing at home at any given time. The other odd thing about the song is the constant mentions of Xavier Jordan’s name as a production ID and I’m thinking “okay, I like the song but I only need to hear the ID once, if at all.” Otherwise, a fine song that will be on Omari’s forthcoming album called Off The Record.
