Brooklyn band Bulletproof Stockings decided to use Kickstarter as a way to let people know about them but primarily to be able to finish the recording, mixing, and mastering of what would become their debut album. The fundraiser was a success and now the group will be releasing it in December, now with an official title: Homeland-Call-Stomp. The band consists of (from L to R) Dana Pestun (violin), Dalia Shusterman (drums/vocals), Perl Wolfe (lead vocals/piano), and Elisheva Maister (cello) and they’re preparing for a tour that will also feature a record release party that begins the tour.
