Thomas Anselmi is a name Canadian music fans may know very well, being the guy who started the Vancouver band Slow 30 years ago to being a part of Circle C and I say this because that’s what the press release says I should say. I could also say that Circle C “more or less invented Radiohead’s sound before they did in the 90s.” and you’d be like “I did not know that.
What you may not know is that Anselmi had a solo project called Mirror and his debut got a good amount of attention when it was released in 2008. Eight years later, you’ll be able to get this album on vinyl, being released in two different color variations, including a red edition. Only 200 copies of the red pressing is being released. Those who love their hard copy as compact discs will be suited as well. Monarch’s album did feature a track with Depeche Mode vocalist Dave Gahan, which you may watch below with the song “Nostalgia”.
If you want to get the album without watching the video, you may pre-order it directly from Artoffact Records.
