It has taken a year for A Grave With No Name to put together a new album, but now it is a reality. Lefse Records will be releasing Whirlpool on July 2nd. For this album, the duo have stepped out of their bedroom dome and recorded this new one at a proper studio, Holy Mountain Studio in London to be exact, and this time they’ve worked with some of their friends, including Alanna McArdle of Ides, Akiko Matsuura of Comanechi, and Linda Jarvis of Echo Lake. Whirlpool is said to be the last part of a trilogy, so if you have their last two albums, you’ll be able to have proper musical closure.

They will be going on tour this summer so if you’re in these cities, stop by and check out some fine music:

July 8… Paris, France (Trabendo) *
July 10… Amsterdam, Holland (Paradiso) *
July 15… Leeds, England (Brudenell Social Club) *
July 16… Manchester, England (Gorilla) *
July 17… London, England (Birthdays) +
July 18… Birmingham, England (Hare & Hounds) *
July 22… Bergen, Norway (Landmark) *
July 23… Oslo, Norway (Parkeatreat) *
