FREE MP3 DL: Zilla Rocca & The Shadowboxers featuring Geechi Suede’s “Chi-Town Drumroll”

Zilla Rocca & The Shadowboxers have a new cut honoring their hometown called “Chi-Town Drumroll”. The song is from their forthcoming No Vacation For Murder album, and they bring in Camp Lo’s Geechi Suede for complimentary funkiness. The full album will be released next week Tuesday (April 1st).

A new version of “Christmas In Hollis” may be considered sacrilege by some, but when you realize it features Eternia, Pete Rock, Deltron 3030, Kardinal Offishal, and Camp Lo among many, then you realize “well damn, if Eternia is in this, I better turn this one up”. Damn right you should.

VIDEO: Geechi Suede’s “Ask About Me”

When it came to Camp Lo, Geechi Suede was my favorite of the two. The group made some serious classics, and now Geechi is wanting to show what it’s like in a solo capacity. For this one, he went to Paris to display himself smoothly in a video as a way to inquire about him in the form of “Ask About Me”. As he says in the song, this is elegant. Don’t be ignorant. It’s from his forthcoming Fishnet Skyscrapers project. Don’t forget.
