SOME STUFFS: Creed Chameleon releases a new EP in 2017

Brand new from my homeland is an EP by Creed Chameleon and he calls this one Sarah Nades. This new 7-song set was released yesterday and features a bit of help from Prie, cnrboy and Young Matt and even has a nice track called “Sleepless In Seattle”. The EP is free of charge but by all means, please use the “Name Your Price” option to show a bit of aloha for this great MC, it would be appreciated.

REVIEW: Kristofer Klarke’s self-titled album

Kristofer Klarke photo Kristofer_cover_zps00wtxxpl.jpg Creed Chameleon and Grip H. are together once again as Kristofer Klarke and together, while this may be an 8-song album (RisingSons), this is not a quick-and-easy effort. What makes this work is while brief, it features some witty stories throughout and it’s a chance to know each of them better than before.

A part of me almost hears this the same way I heard the debut album by Lateef & Lyrics Born as Latryx. They both have different styles, flows, and storylines and yet work as if they are of one mind, knowing and understanding that when they are together, there’s a sense of chemistry that works beautifully, especially in the JP-produced “All That Matters”, where they also bring in Jim Hurdle. A part of me wishes that if I had the money to shoot a music video for this, I’d due it tomorrow and you’d see it by the end of the week. Both of them are witty and clever and aren’t afraid to be funny when needed. While I’m someone who expects full length albums (or a longer album), doing a brief effort in a nice way is compact and precise without too much extra fat hanging on the side. Hopefully more people will find out about them, which will hopefully make them listen to them individually to hear what they’re capable of doing on their own. In a better world, “Life Goes” (produced by Neguin Beats) would be an autumn 2015 hit, with everyone dropping their own verses and making their own remixes because people want to be part of their musical chemistry.

AUDIO: Creed Chameleon featuring Prie’s “The Grind”

Two of some of the best MC’s out of my homeland of the island of Oahu in Hawai’i have collaborated on another great song, this one produced by Insightful. Creed Chameleon brought in Prie for a song that touches on what they have to do in order to get to where they need to be, and it involves “The Grind”. Not the pidgin English term to “grind” as in to eat a meal, but the hustle, although as James Brown once said, if you don’t work, you can’t eat so towards the better and much more of it to come.

Three weeks ago, Creed Chameleon and Grip H. offered up a new Kristofer Klarke song and it was called “Interlude”, which was not brief but a full and actual song. They’re bringing it back again courtesy of producer Neguim Beats and it’s called “Life Goes” because sometimes, it does and can.

AUDIO: Kristofer Klarke’s “Interlude”

Creed Chameleon and Grip H ar eback to the surface again together as Kristofer Klarke and this time around, they’re offering an “Interlude”. No, not a traditional interlude in the hip-hop sense but a full blooded song that’s just offer four minutes, which means you’ll have to listen to it in full to find out why it’s called an interlude in the first place. Good things come to those who wait.

VIDEO: Kristofer Klarke’s “Sunshine”

After having their song circulate for a few weeks, Kristofer Klarke take it to the visuals for “Sunshine”, directed by someone known as “Sondvision Films 2014”. Kristofer Klarke is the duo of Kristofer Rojas (formerly Creed Chameleon) and Klarke Castellanos, and together they make the kind of music that will weep in anticipation and goodness, both of them rhyming in their own unique style but blending to be the kind of unison that makes you miss the good times. No need to miss it when it’s here.
