One For The Doghearted is the brightly named title for the new album by Brooklyn duo Curtin, and they’ve made a video for one of its songs, “I’m A Ghost”, directed by Kevin Hoth. They all went to Eldorado Canyon, Colorado and the desert of southern California and while I could continue to repeat words from the press release for the video, let me just tell you to simply listen.

Former Country Mice bandleader Jason Rueger (vocals/guitar) and drummer Austin Nelson are Curtin, who have recorded, mixed, and mastered their debut album for release this summer, titled One For The Doghearted. They will be bringing their music to you in May (which begins tomorrow) so as they make their way all around the country before returning to Charleston, South Carolina, show some support and say hello. Before you do, listen to “Funeral”, an element of what will be One For The Doghearted.
