He goes by the name of Zolo and he wants to thrive with the power of “I Saw You” and it’s a song about him visusalizing you that one day, stood back and said “whoa” and then like Gene, he wanted to tell you about it, he wanted to tell you about it. Sydney-based producer/DJ Kuosa will be releasing a new single on July 29th called “One Night” but you are able to stream it to know what you’ll be waiting for. The song was done with vocalist Hayley. Will this be a massive hit of the summer (or winter if you live in Australia)?

After years of doing Dub Narcotic Sound System, the selector of the Dub Narcotic has been releasing music on his own and he’s about to release his debut solo album as the DJ, b/k/a “selector” and he’s going off. Literally.

It’s time to get “Lost In The Rhythm” with this brand new cut from Jamie Berry, who brings in Octavia Rose to sing in a song that is sure to get you revved up on the dance floor or laboratory grounds. The song will find its way onto their forthcoming album for Flak Records.

VIDEO: Jolly Mare’s “Hungry Angry”

Fabrizio Martina is going out of his way to let people know he’s more than just a “champion turntablist”, he is a “multi-instrumentalist” and has a “master degree in Mechanical engineering and a PhD in Vibration Dynamics under his belt”, these are things I am quoting from the press release but what you care more about is why I’m posting about him. He has an album coming out soon under the name Jolly Mare so while you will remember his real name, also know him as Jolly Mare. His album will be out soon called Mechanics, a great way to represent what he does in life and in music and he has released the second single from it. Check out “Hungry Angry” and maybe you can control your feelings for the song by balancing both.

Mechanics will be released by Bastard Jazz Recordings on April 8th.

If you need something to pump you up on the dance floro or anywhere that you feel you need a bit of movement, please check out “I’m In Control” but by all means, lose control by getting down with yourself or a significant other (or a perfect stranger, just follow your manners). The song is by AlunaGeorge and this track features Popcaan. On top of that, it’s a remix by The Magician.

Sweden will have another group to show fondness for and their name is Newtimers. They may one day become old timers but they don’t want to rush things. They will be reelasing an EP on Cosmos Music and from it is a song that opens them up to the rest of their homeland and the world. It’s called “Perfect Ten”, a song that may be a guide for what they may be looking for in someone or maybe they’ve already had you in their scope.

VIDEO: Myami’s “I Oh I”

The video is made in an old school radio and the song may remind you of an old school feel too but Myami is a new artist with the heart of the elders, as you will hear in this soulful pop track “I Oh I”. This could easily be remixed to the nth degree but this holds up nicely as is.
