A documentary about the soulful sounds of Philadelphia will be released very soon. Get Down With The Philly Sound will have a soundtrack compiled by Dmitri From Paris that is scheduled for release on May 25th on Barely Breaking Even. The soundtrack, a double CD, is said to be “the first ever comp to document the birth of disco in Phiadelphia”, with Disc 1 featuring original versions of various disco classics, and disc 2 featuring remixes and edits by Dmitri himself. The 2CD soundtrack will be spread across three slabs of vinyl.
