Is Fearce Vill about to wrap his music career up? Not so fast. The song is about a family member and thus it’s more personal than the celebration of a career, and he’d like for you to look and listen. The song is called “Final Goodbye”, which was put together by producer BeanOne. The visuals come courtesy of director Jonathan Parrot. Also to see and hear is Fearce Vill’s journey on the tour with Grieves, head there if you can as both represent love for the 206.
In hip-hop, everybody wants to be “the best”, “the ultimate”, but it’s not about you boasting how great you think you are. It’s about others hearing your music and saying “you know, this guy is not bad at all.” When you got a group of people who decide to work together and create something, it will of course lead to mixed reviews but when it works, you wished they had done this much earlier. Eligh & Amp Live knew the deal when they did “Beautiful Addiction”, and by bringing in Grives</B. and Blake Hazard, they only made a good song better. Unite for the music, unite for creativity: a plus in my book.
If you found yourself “Lost In The Sun”, would you want to come down? Grieves ponders this with help from Budo and K. Flay, and you can listen to it, then download it to your player of choice with the Soundcloud player below.
10 days ago I posted a Grieves video, and just as fans were getting into it, the guy comes out with another? It’s a good thing, for it also gives me an excuse to say hey, you like Grieves? If so, he’s going to go the Vans Warped Tour, so if you want to spock him, go spock:

Grieves is currently on tour in support of his album Together/Apart (Rhymesayers), and the good people at the Big Ass Sandwiches food cart in Portland, Oregon presented it on their Facebook page. I check it out, like it a lot but at around the 0:29 mark I see a certain shot and was like “wait a minute? Do my eyes deceive me? Is that Roland Orzabal of Tears For Fears?
Okay, maybe not, but it is “On The Rocks”, and regardless of what the liquid is (save for charcoal fluid), it’s generally a good thing. Grieves can do no harm. Anyway, watch the video.
Rhymesayers artist Grieves has a new album due out sometime in the spring of 2011, and if you’re a fan wondering what he has been up to, you will now be able to see and hear it.
