As you can see in the late September/early to mid-October shows marked by $, Unknown Mortal Orchestra will have Jackson Scott opening up for them. He will be releasing his latest album for Fat Possum called Melbourne on July 23rd, and his opening dates will be a way to get his music out to be heard by UMO fans and everyone else. What to expect from a Scott live show? His bio states it this way:
(His) live act is to that of the occultist – achieving eternal perfection. A trio that is liquidating the senses, seeking the perfect elixir, channeling kraut, punk, surf and pop as one psych rock solvent.

WHAT?! Sounds nuts, correct? Will he be able to unleash that energy opening for UMO? You will see.
