SOME STUFFS: Verbal Kent offers a dose of “Raponomics” as preview of forthcoming album produced by Khrysis

The album is called Sound Of The Weapon, the forthcoming release by Verbal Kent and produced in its entirety by Khrysis. Mello Music Group is taking this one on, preparing for its release on the 18th of February. It’s a little over a month away, but what you can have right now is a small slice of the goodness to come in the form of “Raponomics”, the lyrics of which can be analyzed by clicking to the Bandcamp page below.

Sound Of The Weapon will also feature a remix of the title track done by 9th Wonder, which is worth waiting for. The countdown is on but again, a slice of the goodness is below.

He had already released two projects earlier this year and this is the third of three. Seam Armstrong released a new album this week called Marble Cake Diaries, featuring the productions of Da Beatminerz, E. FREE MP3 DL: Rapsody’s “She Got Game”

People who are in tune with 9th Wonder’s Jamla label know how much he and others have been pushing for people to become aware of Rapsody. Songs with her have been dropped here and there, and then word of an album materializing was out. The album has finally been released for all to hear, and best of all, she’s making it available for free. It’s called She Got Game and it’s safe to say when you, your main man and your mama hears this, they will all repeat the name of this album. Coalmine Records headed down to Austin, Texas for this year’s South By Southwest convention and went there with an intent to invade. Musically, that is. The Southwest Invasion is a compilation/mix CD hosted by Donny Goines and mixed by DJ Dutchmaster, and featuring a wide range of music by artists you should be listening to, including CL Smooth, Heltah Skeltah, Termanology, Bekay ,Khrysis, and many more.
