VIDEO: Le1f’s “Rage”

Le1f photo Le1f_old_zpsw5kvrstx.jpg
It has been somewhat quiet from artist Le1f but there was a good reason for that. By saying “was”, it means he is no longer but before that, he had been writing and recording new material, which will be part of his new album coming out on November 13th called Riot Boy (Terrible). What is the new song? Here’s a hint in the form of “Rage” and is he like the late Mia Zapata and full of rage? Find out for yourself and see where that perceived anger takes him and you.

VIDEO: Le1f’s “Sup”

Heading outdoors to explore nature via trees and a waterfall is the main man Le1f, who looks at his surrounds and wants to tell you “Sup”. It’s his latest effort from the Hey EP and if you haven’t shown support it yet, please consider doing so.

VIDEO: Le1f’s “Boom”

After his appearance on Late Show With David Letterman, it seems Le1f is not slowing down for anyone. A new EP has been released and from it, a video for “Boom”, which does and will. The only thing I would not recommend is flying your nails in a place that serves food, that’s a good way for the health inspectors to show up. Other than that, dance on and get down.

SOME STUFFS: New music on its way from Le1f

A good concept and theme can work for any music project, and whatever Le1f is doing, it’s working. After releasing a great street album last year, Le1f has been signed to Terrible/XL Recordings and will be releasing a 5-song EP called Hey, which you can either pronounce like a Timberlakd/Timbaland “hey” or a swift and fierce “heyyyyyyyyy”, whatever you feel is good. The track listing shows part of a concept: keep it simple:

1. Hey
2. Sup
3. Boom
4. Wut
5. Buzz

You can have a listen to two tracks, the Dubbel Dutch-produced “Boom” goes first.

Le1f released “Wut” two years ago but it will be resurfacing on Hey.

In more news, Le1f also has an album scheduled for release later in the year. If it’s anywhere as good as Tree House, I think his fan base will get a boost. The Hey EP will be out on March 11th.

SOME STUFFS: Le1f feeling lavish on the cover of his new street album

Tree House is the new street album from rapper Le1f, who may have walked or drove past a tree and said “this would make for a good cover, but it has to be evening.” Boom, and then it happened. What will also be happening is a tour beginning next week in support of Tree House, so head out if you can and have a good time at the Le1f show.
