SOME STUFFS: Chris Robinson Brotherhood add dates to forthcoming tour

Chris Robinson Brotherhood are anxiously awaiting to release their new album called Anyway You Love, We Know How You Feel but they’ll have to wait until July 29th, as that’s the day Robinson decided to release it through his own Silver Arrow label.

Another thing coming up is more shows, as the group had been on tour and are currently taking a few weeks off before returning to get back on the steel horse they ride. They’ve added to the tour but all of the shows from next week until mid-September are still valid.

The good mates of Pill will finally be releasing their debut album this summer, specifically on August 19th. Mexican Summer are the label who will be coming out with Convenience. I’ll throw you a hint of what the album is about by checking out the video made for “Medicine”.

SOME STUFFS: No Joy to begin series of EP’s

If you’re a fan of the Montreal band No Joy, you’re going to be happy about this news. They have new music coming out but it’s not just one release, but a bunch of them. They are going to release a series of EP’s so arguably, you can say the band recorded a full length album and decided to split it up for a handful of releases and maybe that’s what they did. No matter, new music is on the way, first with the release Drool Sucker that will be out in July 15th through the label they’re now signed to, Topshelf Records. Check out a track from the EP, listen to “Thorn in Garlands Side”.

Beginning on Friday, fans in the United Kingdom will get a chance to enjoy them when they go on tour, which they’ll do until spring is almost coming to an end but they’ll return again this August. Some spring dates will team them up with White Lung.

SOME STUFFS: Chris Robinson return with The Brotherhood for album #4

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood are returning with a new album, their fourth, come July 29th. You’ll have to wait for almost three months to check out Anyway You Love, We Know How You Feel, to be released on Robinson’s own Silver Arrow label, the label he used in the last days of The Black Crowes. You might be asking yourself “last days?” Well, they may be on hiatus but we don’t know if and when they’ll return so if you haven’t got familiar with what Robinson has been doing, catch up. Best way to begin is with a song called “Narcissus Soaking Wet”, which begins kinda trippy but is very soulful and bluesy just as you like it.

The group are heading on tour this June but they’ll begin with a one-off show next week Friday at the Cherokee Creek Music Festival in Texas. Then it’ll be time to spend the rest of spring into the Brotherhood’s arms and make the summer another great one:
