Whirr photo Whirr_old_zps4484d1c4.jpg
Come November 17th, you’ll be able to pick up a new 12″ by Whirr and Nothing, to be released on Run For Cover. Nothing offer two songs: “July The Fourth” and “Chloroform” while Whirr gives up “Lean” and “Ease”, the latter of which you’ll be able to stream and listen to right now. You can pre-order the record by clicking here.

You want to check out Nothing’s “July The Fourth” too? Then here you go.

To make this release interesting, the 12″ will have an etching on its B-side, which means the four songs are on one side and the B-side is meant to look at (in other words, it’s not meant to be played {although if you do, it’ll ruin your needle}), and will also have a full-length Whirr/Nothing DVD featuring a documentary of the bands in the recording studio.

If you’re a Nothing fan, you’ll be able to see them on tour in Europe”

VIDEO: Nothing’s “Bent Nail”

The feel of this song is a bit on the Dinosaur Jr./Nirvana/Bush vibe, but get through the initial layers and you’ll find much more. In fact, when you get through more and essentially the core, it is where you will find Nothing, who offer a nice and rough song called “Bent Nail”. The song can be found in their Guilty of Everything album on Relapse, released earlier this month.
