This is the title track from the forthcoming Röyksopp mini-album on Cherrytree/Interscope due out May 26th. While I’m still iffy about lyric videos, this one, featuring Robyn on vocals, is really good and I take exception to it because of how good the song is.
In the United States, if you’re out of sight, you are out of mind although fans of Neneh Cherry and Robyn have known that they’ve been around for years. They follow the music, monitor the social medias (yes, I wrote “medias”) and will know when they release new music. Now, both of them join forces for a very nice track called “Out Of The Black”, which leads to the question “if they’re out of the black, what are they going into?” Find out by pressing play.
Locally, Robyn was the one soulful white singer that would be played religiously on the radio even though she wasn’t producing hits. 16 years later, she has made a comeback of sorts, at least to American ears, but she shows why she continues to push her talents on the world.
This one is from the Mad Decent camp, so get ready and bust it out malanguats.
