VIDEO: Run The Jewels’ “Oh My Darling”

WARNING: The footage in this video consists of human adult female nipples.

Hotness at the edge of town has returned with a new one from Run The Jewels, who are not sitting in stools but may be hanging near pools the next time you see them, hopefully when the weather is better unless you’re somewhere where the weather is warm. This one is for the song “Oh My Darling”, so please believe them, they will do you no harm.

Both El-P and Killer Mike (or Killer Mike and El-P, depending on your personal preference) will be heading to Europe and Australia in the coming months, including next month too. For what? Shows and I’m sure their share of wheat crumpets:

VIDEO: Run The Jewels’ “Blockbuster Night Part 1”

Would you give noodles to a group that rhymes oodles with voodoo? You may want to when it comes to the guys in Run The Jewels, who are running their balls off in their new video for “Blockbuster Night Part 1”. The song is far from grim but it may make you slim, but only if you don’t eat too much noodles. I don’t know what I’m saying so…

AUDIO: Run The Jewels featuring Zack De La Rocha’s “Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)””

The guys of Run The Jewels get to plucking once again because they can, and when you ask El-P and Killer Mike why, they will be like Inspectah Deck and ask you “the fuck you think?” Their new album (RTJ2) is on the way around the corner but this track was too good to let stay underneath a pit. This one features Rage Against The Machine vocalist Zack De la Rocha dropping a verse, so check out “Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck)” and get to counting. You’ll have to head to Buzzfeed to take a listen.

Run The Jewels have been making a minor ruckus on the social media this morning with a note circulating on how people are able to welcome them to school for a performance and public speaking. Along with that is a new song from that that is a part of Adult Swim’s Singles Club, and this juicer is here right now for all to hear and download, for free. You can also head here if the Soundcloud link/player below is unavailable or not working.

VIDEO: Run The Jewels’ “Run The Jewels”

When I was a kid, I watched a lot of MTV and I liked it when it showed that Iron Maiden made a video for “Iron Maiden” from their album Iron Maiden. Icehouse also made “Icehouse” for the album Icehouse, and Visage made “Visage” for their album Visage, stuff like that stays in the mind. Will Run The Jewels be as successful with the formula? Well, they are Run The Jewels and they made a video for the song “Run The Jewels” from their album Run The Jewels, so the formula IS a success.

VIDEO: Run the Jewels’ “36” Chain”

Dookie. It’s something that used to be part of the hip-hop vernacular, died out a bit but it is making a quiet re-entrance with the help of El-P and Killer Mike, who as Run The Jewels are showing everyone what it means to have a “36” Chain” in times of:

a) trouble
b) struggle
c) strife
d) I have no idea

The introduction to the video is an homage to LL Cool J’s “I’m Bad”.

Run The Jewels have a song they’re like for you to hear, but you’re probably like Robin Harris and saying/thinking to yourself “who the fuck are Run The Jewels?” El-P and Killer Mike decided to come together for a song, but rather than have the song get a simple credit of “El-P & Killer Mike”, they decided to give themselves a moniker, and here we are. “Get It” is one of a selection of songs that will be on their album, and this will be a free album, no joke. It will be released in June through Fool’s Good, which will be followed by a tour where they’ll be joined with former Das Racist individual Kool AD and Despot.
