Salt Cathedral are Nicolas Losada and Juliana Ronderos, two Colombians now residing in the borough of Brooklyn. They create electronic music for fun and you are able to listen to their slice of fun with “Tease”. Not only that, but the song was remixed by Kodak To Graph, so it’s twice as fun.

If you’re already familiar with Salt Cathedral, you’ll be happy to know they have a new EP (their second) coming out on August 25th called Oom Velt, where “Tease” will have a place. The EP will be out digitally and as a 12″ on white vinyl.

August is two months away but Salt Cathedral have completed work on what will be their new EP, titled Oom Velt. The duo are originally from Colombia but currently reside in Brooklyn, and the new release is their second effort so far, one that is also self-produced. The music is described “as nimble tempos with bright, kaleidoscopic electronics”, which may be a bit poetic but you may hear the same thing in a song that is an appropriate word for it: “Tease”. Oom Velt will not only be released digitally, but it will come out as a white vinyl 12″ with artwork created by visual artist Micci Cohan.
