SOME STUFFS: Pop. 1280 prepare for forthcoming tour, share new video

Imps Of Perversion (Sacred Bones) is the new album by Pop. 1280 that is out right now. Also out a video the band made with director Scott Kiernan for the song “do The Anglerfish”, which may or may not involve a new dance that is sweeping the nation. Also out: concert dates for a tour the band will start next week, which includes a stop in Vancouver, British Columbia. It’s a 3-in-1 deal, just like the 3-1n-1 dish my mom made for me for years. It is delicious, and this Pop. 1280 will be just as delicious.

 photo Upset_old2_zpsf61d051a.jpg
Don Giovanni Records are ready for She’s Gone, the debut album by Upset that will be making out of the doors on the 29th of this month. The band are a healthy combination of guitarist Ali Koehler, drummist Patty Schemel, and Jennifer Prince on gits and vox, and hope their music and friendship will take them to new levels, surpassing what they each had done with the bands they may be known for. You may get to know them for what they are now with the title track for their album.

You’re also able to find out more about and hear them in a live setting when they do a small handful of shows on the west coast in November, where they’ll be joined by Screaming Females. That’s the band Screaming Females, not any ladies that may be in the crowd:

VIDEO: Shellshag’s “Driving Song”

A simple-but-nicely-done video by the Shellshag gang, along with their friends in the festive “Driving Song”, a track from their Shellshag Forever album on Don Giovanni.

In other band news, the group now have action figures, created by the duo’s John Shell. You may look them over by clicking here, or watch this fantastic TV commercial for them:

I’m sure they’ll bring a few to sell on the merchandise table when they go on tour this week, so bring some extra money:

SOME STUFFS: Shellshag are “Forever” with new video

The band are called Shellshag. Their forthcoming album on Don Giovanni is called Shellshag Forever. There’s a song on it called “Forever” so technically, the video for said song cannot be a title track. But it rocks, and you may view their garage nastiness now.

While the band can’t be on the road forever (some people have lives, you know), they will be hitting the road next month:
