VIDEO: Souls Of Mischief featuring Snoop Dogg’s “There Is Only Now”

New music from Souls Of Mischief is similar to the birth of a child. “There Is Only Now” is the title track from their forthcoming album ready for release on August 26th, and this one contains a faithful contribution from Snoop Dogg. That’s not a joke: Souls and Snoop are together and yes, that is indeed Ali Shaheed Muhammad seen within.

What makes a legend? You have to start somewhere right? Dallas is always ripe with hip-hop talent, and one person you may want to keep an ear and eye out for is named Lejend. For his new track “Have”, he was able to get some Souls Of Mischief flavor with help from Opio, and everything is tied together in a nice manner courtesy of producer Juicy.

VIDEO: Souls Of Mischief’s “Cab Fare (Live)”

Two months ago, Oakland mayor Jean Quan declared September 3rd to be Hiero Day, in honor of local hip-hop legends the Hieroglyphics. Some footage was caught from the live performance shot on Hero 3 HD cameras, ans this is the end result.

FREE DL: Gummy Soul’s “93 Still”

Some will tell you that 1993 ended as the year of the Wu-Tang Clan, and yet even someone like myself who was a hardcore Wu-Tang fan, they really didn’t start picking up until 1994. There are many groups where the honor is justified, and one of them would have to be Souls Of Mischief. They’re being honored by Gummy Soul with the free album release of 93 Still, where SOM’s debut album was remixed from top to bottom, beginning to end, with apparent blessings from the Hiero crew, and now you can hear and have it now, as if it was still in 93 (till).

VIDEO: Greenhouse’s “Willing To Bleed”

Video number three from Greenhouse has Blueprint and Illogic telling everyone within ear’s reach that they are more than “Willing To Bleed”, and for what? Part of the beauty in this is finding out the answer, which you can do by pressing play on the video above and listening. All answers are welcome.
