The lady some know as Steph Thompson has finished a third album that is scheduled for release in October called Heart Beats (Mush), and it will no doubt keep her fans well fed.

Some of the people she is collaborating with on this effort include Sun Glitters, Stumbleline, Different Sleep, Magical Mistakes, Nknwn, and Chrome Sparks among many. You can now listen to her track with Chrome Sparks, “Eyes For You”, which begins on one genre spectrum before bobbing and weaving into others.

Steffaloo’s Would You Stay (Mush) has been digging the scene since last year, but now a full on dig has been created by Avec Avec. Steffaloo enter the world of Avec Avec with a nice remix of “Can’t You See”, where the obvious response is “I want you just for me”, and now you can titillate its bass and snares by grabbing its hips and making it sway back and forth.

Steph Thompson is the artist who wants to be known as Steffaloo, and she will be releasing an album on Mush Records called Would You Stay, scheduled for an October 23rd, and the title track is available as a free download, courtesy of Mush and Steffaloo herself. I love the haunting qualities of her multi-tracked vocals, or are they really haunting? I think they’re cool sounding as she compliments herself with… herself. Looking forward to hearing the full album.
