VIDEO: The Coathangers’ “Parasite (Live)”

A new track from The Coathangers? Indeed and it was done in a basement (or what looks like a basement) somewhere unknown. It’s a short-but-sweet track called “Parasite” and this is sure to make the crowd go absolutely nuts. No word on what it will be used for or if this was just something they felt like doing for the hell of it, so please listen to it, for the hell of it.

The ladies of the ultra-rockers known as The Coathangers go back about 50 years to create a music video looking like a television appearance, what people used to call promotional film clips and that’s what you’re about to watch. We call it videos now and they want to let you know what it means to be “Down Down” but could you be lifted up by the power of this trio? You could and will be.

AUDIO: The Coathangers’ “Squeeki Tiki”

The Coathangers photo Coathangers_old_zps1qmy3j8z.jpg
Nosebleed Weekend (Suicide Squeeze) is The Coathangers’ album that is about two weeks away and when I say “about two weeks”, I mean April 15th, do your math in the head and go “OH CRAP, IT IS ALMOST TWO…”

Anyway, have a song from the album I’d like to share with you. It’s called “Squeeki Tiki”, the title of which may sound a bit on the exotica side but there is no lounging around here, but you may want to bring those rubber duckies to all future Coathangers shows.

VIDEO: The Coathangers’ “Watch Your Back”

The Coathangers are back but if they’re back, where have they been? Well, they’ve been doing their own individual personal things, doing what they do in order to simply live a life but they are together in song once more and they are telling you to “Watch Your Back” or else. The song is part of the split 7″ single they did with Black Lips, coming out this Friday. You can pre-order your copy directly from Suicide Squeeze Records.
