If you think of bands from Chile, maybe one may not come to mind but you can change that by getting to know The Holydrug Couple. This psych rock band recently released an album for Sacred Bones called Moonlust and have done a number of shows across the globe for a few years. Now they have a song in support of the new effort, check out “Light Or Night”.
The band had to cancel their European tour recently but they have rescheduled everything and are heading at the end of this winter and to welcome Spring overseas. Check out the dates:

The moment I first heard “It’s Dawning”, it reminded me of the psychedelic balladry of Pink Floyd circa Atom Heart Mother or “Echoes”, and that made me want to hear more from The Holydrug Couple, and now here we are. The band released Noctuary on Sacred Bones Records at the beginning of the year, and the video for “It’s Dawning” looks perfect for the early fall season we here in the northern hemisphere are experiencing (or early spring for those in the south).
The healthy band from Chile will be spending time in the northern hemisphere for the remainder of the year with shows bouncing back and forth from continent to continent so if you are where they are, become one with their sound:
