SOME STUFFS: No Joy to begin series of EP’s

No Joy photo NoJoy_old_zpsmeoakwz8.jpg
If you’re a fan of the Montreal band No Joy, you’re going to be happy about this news. They have new music coming out but it’s not just one release, but a bunch of them. They are going to release a series of EP’s so arguably, you can say the band recorded a full length album and decided to split it up for a handful of releases and maybe that’s what they did. No matter, new music is on the way, first with the release Drool Sucker that will be out in July 15th through the label they’re now signed to, Topshelf Records. Check out a track from the EP, listen to “Thorn in Garlands Side”.

Beginning on Friday, fans in the United Kingdom will get a chance to enjoy them when they go on tour, which they’ll do until spring is almost coming to an end but they’ll return again this August. Some spring dates will team them up with White Lung.

SOME STUFFS: White Lung to tour with Antwon this fall

 photo WhiteLung_old_zpsab2fa558.jpg
White Lung to tour with Antwon this fall.

On other websites, all you’d have to rely on is the headline and hope for the best, but not here. The hope is that you’ll read the introduction and hopefully… eh, maybe you’re not reading the intro, but then again, how would you know about this tour that’s going to happen in November? All you want is the tour dates, correct? Well sure, but I still have to tell you a few things.

On the White Lung side you have Mish Way (vocals), Anne-Marie Vassiliou (drums), Grady Mackintosh (bass), and Kenneth William (guitar), and together they merge a nice blend of punk and pop. On the Antwon side you have Antwon, rapper man. 18 months after White Lung released their album Sorry (Deranged), they are still touring in support of it, but perhaps they’ll throw in some new songs as well.

Now that you know these things, you may have the tour dates.

RECORD CRACK: Audacity to take part in Suicide Squeeze single series

Audacity photo Audacity_old_zps2c42ed9d.jpg
There is a phrase that goes something like “I can’t believe you have the audacity…”, which generally will lead to an argument on how pompous someone is. Maybe the Audacity are indeed pompous, or maybe they save those types of emotions for their music but as of now, this quartet from Fullerton, California are ready to release a new single in April. This one will be a part of Suicide Squeeze Records‘ Singles Club, and it will be published on April 2nd. Here’s a look at the picture sleeve, and a player for you to listen to its A-side:
