We’ve come to the point where “I Wrote This” is now a major statement in hip-hop. This was a music that was primarily based on your own skills, but too many artists rely on the talents of others to display whatever talents they want to force feed on others. Jae Skeese, on the other hand, is old school, or at least has a sensibility of the old school mentality. Hell, even his name honors what came before. This is his song, and like Robert Plant, it makes me wonder too on how music like this is not in the forefront. Well, it’s in the front for me.
